PEGAZUS: In Writing Mode
February 4, 2004Australia's PEGAZUS have posted the following message on their official web site:
"Hail PEGAZUS Warriors,
"We hope you all had a great New Year! The band has recently played some live shows at the HeadBangers Ball 3 Festival. PEGAZUS will now be taking a break from the live playing scene for the next 4 to 6 months while the band are now very busy getting stuck into the writing process of the new songs for the next studio album. This album is scheduled for recording around May/June with a possible release date later in the year. We hope to have some demos of the new songs sometime over the next couple of months, when the band will also be shopping the demos around for possible new record labels to work with in future. At the moment, we are still not sure who will replace Hanny on bass and Robbie on drums for the next studio album and future touring plans, but as soon as we know of any confirmed news on this we will let you guys know. All that we do know at this point is that Robbie Stoj has just recently stated to us that he does not plan on playing drums in PEGAZUS or any other projects in the immediate future…his playing future is very uncertain right now and we do have to respect his wishes and that's that I guess!
"Anyway, thanx to all you guys out there buying the bands latest and new 'Live! Thunder Down Under' CD which is doing really great and the general responses from the fans and media have been so overwhelming so far. The general comments would have to be of the highest praises on the actual live performance and the fact that this is a truly live album without all the bullshit over production that is so common with live albums, nowadays especially. So, enjoy the live discs for now until we give you our next killer studio offering later this year. Hopefully with the right label behind us in future, we will finally get to tour in Europe again as well as possible tours in countries like Japan/Asia, USA and South America for the first time too!"
